At Koala Gardens, get acquainted with the adorable creatures as you watch them eat and sleep. Also spot other wildlife animals like quokkas, freshwater crocodiles, kangaroos and wallabies, wombats, snakes, monitors, and other reptiles. On top of that, you can join a guided walk through the Nocturnal Wonders exhibit to learn about possums and gliders. Explore the newest exhibit the Aussie Bush Collection where you can be educated about the environment in which marsupials and reptiles live together in Australia.

At Birdworld Kuranda, you will visit one of Australia’s largest collections of free-flying birds. See this natural habitat with over 350 birds including 60 native and exotic bird species. These include Eclectus Parrot, Black Cockatoo, Southern Cassowary, Fig Parrot, Galah, Superb Fruit-Dove, Gouldian Finch, and much more.

At The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, you will visit the largest butterfly exhibit in Australia and the southern hemisphere. It's home to over 1500 magnificent tropical butterflies and a “behind the scenes” tour of the breeding laboratory which houses 4000 caterpillars that will one day turn into beautiful colorful creatures. It's recommended to wear something bright to let these butterflies flutter all over you.
