Just a short drive from Valencia, you can embark on a scenic adventure in Montanejos. Start your journey with a guided hike, soak up views of the surrounding landscapes, witness the powerful Chorro, and take pleasure in the natural pools (Fuentes de los Baños).

Kick-start your day with a morning trek through the mountains, following the course of the Mijares River. As you progress, you'll be treated to views of the town and the majestic river.

Your path will eventually lead you to the Chorro, an awe-inspiring water jet that releases 300,000 litres of water per minute - truly a sight to behold. Immerse yourself in the thermal pools Fuentes de los Baños, reputedly constructed by Moorish king Abu Zeit to preserve the beauty of his queens. These pools maintain a consistent temperature of 23°C throughout the year (which may feel cooler in summer) and are renowned for their mineral-rich composition, offering both relaxation and health benefits.

The hiking part of the tour is not mandatory (alternatively, you can stay at the Fuentes de los Baños)
The difficulty of the hiking trail is moderate. It is approximately 9 kilometres long. You need to be able to walk up and down hills in the heat. It is accessible to everyone with good health, a reasonable level of fitness, and appropriate footwear
During summer, the hiking route may be adapted due to the heat. The distance will be approximately 5-6 kilometres. You will still be able to experience the main highlights, including the jet stream
