Join a local family at their dining table for a culinary journey that transports you into a different world. Each encounter is personal, involving only your party and the host family.
Upon meeting the local family and enjoying your first drink, you'll have the opportunity to assist them in meal preparation. Or, if you prefer, you can simply observe, jot down notes, and capture the moment with photographs. Just relax and savour the experience.
All host families possess at least a basic command of English, enabling meaningful conversations about daily life in their country. Feel free to engage with them about any topic of interest, including sharing insights about your own culture. Such exchanges are often interesting for the local families who are equally keen to learn about diverse cultures.

- A minimum of 2 adults is required for this activity
- On the terrace, you’ll find many shoes. It is customary to take off your shoes before entering a house
- Clothes should respect the local culture and not show too much skin
- The local family will invite you to help with the preparations of your meal
- It is recommended to discuss when you or the local family want to take pictures (and/or post them on social media). Most of the time, everyone is fine with it
