The mystical midnight sun often casts a beautiful orange and pink glow on the mountains surrounding the bay and together with the wildlife that you can see, it provides quite a unique experience. This tour will kick off on the floating wildlife exhibition at the Visitor Centre which is housed on a converted fishing vessel. There you can enjoy a multimedia show that includes images, videos and facts about whales and marine life before setting sail. On your voyage, you can expect to see minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and even humpback whales. Once you're out at sea, the boat engines will be switched off so that you can enjoy the soothing sounds of the water, the whales and birds to the fullest. You'll also be able to enjoy some mellow music on the way back to port which gives the tour an extra romantic edge and makes it a great start to a night out in city. There's even a bar on board where you can enjoy a whale punch (or two)!

If you don't encounter any whales or dolphins on the tour, you'll be offered a complimentary ticket that is valid for 2 years so that you can try again another day. This ticket is for returning passengers only and is non-transferrable between tours
The weather can change rapidly in Iceland so the captain may decide to alter routes or cancel the tour on short notice for safety reasons. In this case, the tour provider will let you know as soon as possible
