The tour begins at Trajan's Column and continues along Via dei Fori Imperiali, offering sweeping views of the Roman Forum, once the political and commercial heart of the Roman Empire. Along the way, an expert guide shares stories of Roman politics, religion and daily life, pointing out temples, arches and historic landmarks.

Passing the Forums of Caesar and Augustus, you'll arrive at the Colosseum. Enter the amphitheatre in the evening, when it is quieter and more evocative, and discover the history of this iconic monument. Your guide will explain how it was built and how it evolved, as well as the spectacles that once took place here.

Guests who select the Arena Floor options will step onto the reconstructed arena itself, access areas reopened after more than 40 years, and view recently uncovered ancient graffiti. Guests choosing the options without Arena Floor will explore the Colosseum interior and upper levels. Underground areas are not included.

You can choose between a visit without access to the Arena Floor, available as a semi-private (10 people) or group tour (25 people), and a visit with access to the Arena Floor in semi-private (10 people), small-group (15 people) or group (25 people) tours
The tour price includes admission to the Colosseum (18€ for standard access and 24€ for access with Arena Floor). The remaining amount covers additional services included in the offer, such as the guided tour and on-site assistance
At checkout you will be asked to provide the full name of each guest in your party. Please note that this name cannot be changed after booking and must match the name on the valid ID you must present at the entrance
Extra measures may be implemented due to heightened global security. As a result, visitors may experience delays in getting through mandatory security checks when entering the venue

The tour starts on the platform directly in front of Trajan's Column. Trajan's Column (~30 m high with engravings) is located on Via dei Fori Imperiali next to Piazza Venezia. When standing right in front and facing the Victor Emmanuel II Monument (a.k.a. the "Wedding Cake"), it's directly to the left across the street. In the summer, your tour coordinator will be waiting there wearing a blue polo shirt with the City Wonders logo printed on it, and in the winter, a blue jacket of the same design.
