Embark on an unforgettable journey to Tavolara, a gem nestled on the beautiful east coast, just a stone's throw away from Olbia. This extraordinary island, sculpted from limestone and granite with subtle pink hues, forms part of the Tavolara Marine Protected Area. It is a true natural paradise that harmoniously blends history, awe-inspiring landscapes, and unparalleled biodiversity.

Your adventure begins with a transfer by rubber dinghy boat from Porto San Paolo. Upon arrival at Tavolara's small port, you'll commence a moderately challenging trek that lasts approximately two hours. As you ascend towards Punta Cannone, you'll traverse an ancient path once used by limestone quarrymen. This route is teeming with rare flora and fauna, including some species found nowhere else in the world. The climax of your hike is a short via ferrata of about 45 minutes leading to the summit of Punta Cannone. Here, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the entire island and the coastline - a sight that will leave you spellbound. Following this, you'll begin your descent back to the embarkation point for your return journey by boat.

Technical data sheet of the trekking: Length of route: 7 km. Height difference: 600 m. Hiking level: EEA (Experienced hiker with equipment). Physical commitment: challenging. Duration: 6 hours
The tour is confirmed with at least two participants
Children aged 8 and upwards can participate if they are already used to hiking
The equipment rental includes: harness, helmet, via ferrata kit

Remember to bring:

Sporty, comfortable and seasonally appropriate clothing
Hiking shoes, gloves, medium backpack, sun cream, snack, water (at least 2l), packed lunch
