Venice Islands guided tour - Murano, Burano and Torcello
Enjoy an unforgettable day discovering the wonderful islands of Venice with an expert guide! Starting from St. Mark's Square, you'll cross the Venice Lagoon on a panoramic boat to admire Murano, Burano and Torcello, while your expert guide explains the history and culture of the islands.
Your first destination will be Murano, where you will have the opportunity to visit a glass factory and watch a glassblowing demonstration done by a local artist, who will create a unique glass object in front of you. Afterwards you will have some free time to enjoy the beautiful island.
Then, you will visit the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for its lace making but also for its brightly painted fishermen's houses. Here you can walk the typical colorful streets and taste the delicious local sweets 'Bussolai'.
The last stop will be Torcello, 'the green island', where you can admire the oldest churches in the lagoon and discover how Venice was born.
You will conclude your excursion by crossing the lagoon by boat, admiring the fascinating Bacino di San Marco.

- Please note that the tour at 12:30 PM lasts 6 hours and the tour at 2:30 PM lasts 4 hours and 20 minutes, as the 12:30 tour has more free time for visitors to have lunch
- The tour ends at St.Mark's Square
- The tour runs in English, French, Spanish and Italian (the tour could be multilingual)
- Comfortable shoes suggested
- Boats are completely covered; the tour operates regularly in case of rain or snow. The tour will not take place in case of exceptional bad weather (in these cases the tour will be postponed to another day or refunded)
- Please note that on certain days between April 25, 2024, and July 14, 2024, visitors to Venice are required to pay, directly to the Municipality of Venice, an access fee, except for specific exemptions (i.e. Minors under the age of 14 are excluded from the payment of the access fee; please bring an ID card for the proof of the age). The assistant will wait for you with a blue sign that has the words "Lagoon Tour" close to dock number 1A, in front of Palazzo Cornoldi , Riva degli schiavoni 4142 (8 minutes walking from Saint Mark's Square). It is mandatory to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the departure time.
