Under the guidance of the boat captain, you will witness a true spectacle of nature. The Tagus, with 32 Km2, is the largest estuary in Western Europe. It has a nature reserve area of 14,000 hectares where 200 different species of birds are identified. Regular counts indicate that the numbers of wintering species amount to 120,000 individuals.
