Meet your friendly local guide at 8am. Climb aboard your minivan and travel into Provence towards the Valensole Plateau. You will enjoy amazing views as your guide takes you along the picturesque roads which wind alongside the lavender fields.

The Valensole Plateau is specialised in the "lavandin" culture and you will find out about the history, traditions and culture behind this "blue gold" from your knowledgeable guide as you go.

During the course of your lavender tour your guide will stop at the best photo spots for you to see the lavender fields in all their beauty.

Enjoy a stop to visit a local producer who will tell you everything about the iconic flower of Provence and its produce like the essential oil, the lavender honey and many other specialties based on lavender.

After visiting the lavender fields, you will journey on for a stop in Moustiers-Ste-Marie. The village is perched up high in the limestone cliffs and is famous for its earthenware workshops. There will be free time for a visit and lunch (lunch is not included).

In the afternoon, you'll have the perfect opportunity to capture breathtaking photos of the stunning beauty of the Verdon River, with its crystal-clear waters and picturesque surroundings.

At the end of your day trip to the lavender fields of Provence your guide will drive you back to Marseille for 5pm.

Know in advance:

• Meet your guide at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure

• Children rate apply from 4 to 11 years old - For any booking with children, please advise the age

• The adult fare will be applied from 12 years old

• Food and drinks (unless specified), additional entrance fees and gratuities (optional) are not included

• You'll have free time for lunch (at your own expense)

• Tours are operated for a minimum of 2 passengers, however bookings for solo travelers are accepted. If the solo traveler remains the only passenger booked for a departure, the tour operator will contact the passenger the day before the tour in order to offer an alternative tour or date. If the passenger refuses the alternative suggestion, they will be fully refunded

• The tour operator cannot be held responsible for delays due to traffic conditions, weather, accidents incurred while entering or exiting the vehicle or for robbery of personal effects or luggage

• The tour operator may modify the programme according to the lavender's blooming stage

Remember to bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes are recommended

• Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated
