For years, the old port site has lain fallow. The former warehouses are in danger of collapsing, port cranes are rotting and the warehouses are empty. Then Cologne decides: the entire Rheinauhafen will become a new building project! But suddenly journalists uncover a conspiracy. A consortium wants to blow up all the historic buildings and have the entire area built on by a star architect. His architectural style is world-famous and is considered "deconstructivist", or as the people of Cologne would say: "He builds crooked and bland".
This catastrophe must be averted. Wander through the Rheinauhafen and see for yourself the beauty of the historic buildings. Solve exciting riddles and learn about the many stories behind the historic and new buildings. In the end, you will find out which structural catastrophe the people of Cologne were spared.
