This route commences in the Rača district of Bratislava and concludes in Trnava, fondly referred to as the "Little Rome of Slovakia." You'll have the pleasure of visiting a charming café nestled within Bratislava’s Old Town, where you can relish Slovak wines from small, family-owned producers. The distinct flavours of local vintages are yours to savour in a warm and relaxed setting.

The Bratislava region and southern Slovakia boast a rich winemaking history that traces back to Roman times. The vineyards are beautifully situated on the slopes of the Small Carpathian Mountains that encircle Bratislava. A trip to Bratislava wouldn’t be complete without indulging in its delectable cuisine and experiencing the singular tastes of its local wines, which remain Slovakia's 'hidden gem.'

During the wine tasting, you will have the opportunity to appreciate and differentiate between four traditional wines from a small local producer in the nearby village of Limbach, just outside Bratislava. This experience is further enhanced by a selection of small canapés, a traditional snack enjoyed with a glass of wine.
