Discover the Chillon Castle and the Vaud countryside in a day trip from Lausanne by bus.

Drive through the Vaud countryside and see the highlight of Lausanne, the Olympic committee created by the Baron Pierre de Coubertin in 1896. Spend free time in the village around Chaplin's world. Next, marvel at the “wine road”, the vineyard region of Lavaux, protected by UNESCO and taste some local products as cheese, wine or grape juice. Stroll through Vevey city, see the covered market and spend free time for your lunch.

In the afternoon, you’ll arrive to the Castle of Chillon, the most visited castle of Switzerland from the 11th century. Admire its beautiful location on a small island in the far western end of Lake Geneva between Montreux and Villeneuve and find out why this castle was long of strategic importance in controlling trade in the Lake Geneva region. End your day in Montreux, stroll the waterfront promenade and pose for photos with Freddie Mercury statue.

Departure is at 9.00am, return will be around 05.45pm
If the group has less than 10 participants, a trained driver guide will lead you through the day. If there are more than 10 participants there will be an extra guide (included within the price of the tour, no additional costs)
