Starting from meeting your guide once collected at your accommodation, you'll be driven to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. There, you'll learn at Ba Dinh Square about the former Vietnam President Ho Chi Minh and read Vietnam’s Declaration of Independence. Then, marvel at the Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and One-Pillar Pagoda that is supported by only one pillar resembling a lotus blossom and hear about its ancient Buddhist history.
Next, you'll visit Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature) and hear how it's the first Imperial school in Vietnam built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly. Indulge in lunch at a local restaurant, before seeing the Women’s Museum that honors Vietnamese women throughout history. A cyclo (pedicab) ride around the “36 meandering streets” of Ha Noi’s historic Old Quarter, a visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda as well as Quan Thanh Temple completes your day.
