Put yourself in the shoes of a professional racing driver revving a 3000cc V6 engine. This race-worthy engine was developed specifically for the circuit by high-performance Formula 1® engineer Cosworth. Get a grasp of the inner workings of this racing car and experience truly sensational performance firsthand. You’ll be in charge of the paddle shifters, which help shift the gearbox up and down. Two onboard video cameras will capture your drive and allow you to re-live the action later on.

Once you register upon arriving at gate 7, you will be given a wristband and shown to the Drive Yas briefing room where a Senior instructor will introduce you to the car and play a detailed safety briefing. A member of staff will take you to the pit garage and fit you with a helmet and balaclava, then introduce you to your instructor who will fit you into the car and make you comfortable as he explains the controls. Drive out of the pit lane to join the track and drive for 20 minutes with your instructor showing you how to improve your driving technique. Then you will return to the pit lane, remove your helmet and chat with your instructor for a quick debrief.

You should hold a valid driving license from your home country or an international driving license. For non-UAE license holders, you should have held your license for at least two years
You must at least be 19 years, drivers aged 19 to 25 must have held their license for a minimum of 2 years
You must have excellent knowledge of manual transmission gear type
Please bring a clear copy of your driver's license and present both the copy and the original
Optional extra insurance is available for AED 200 to be paid by card or cash at the time of registration
Optional video footage of the experience can be purchased for AED 200 after the experience and can be paid in cash or by card
Please wear training shoes (no sandals or high heels) and clothes covering your arms and legs
