Liverpool has shaken off its industrial shackles to become one of Britain's most dynamic and vibrant cities and on this day trip, you'll be able to see how. Once you've hopped off the train in the home of the Beatles, you can explore the world-famous waterfront, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, admire the grandiose architecture and learn about the history of this fascinating city.
In the afternoon, you'll explore the childhood homes, schools and birthplaces of The Beatles on the Magical Mystery Tour. You'll even check out the locations that inspired some of their greatest hits, including Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields, before popping into the award-winning 'The Beatles Story' exhibition where you can learn more about the Fab Four.
Your tour ends at The Cavern Club, the most famous music club in the world, and where it all began for The Beatles. This legendary cellar has played a role in every era of music from 1950s jazz to the rise of rock 'n' roll and 21st-century indie music.
