As a site of memory and consciousness, the Whitney Plantation Museum is meant to pay homage to all enslaved people on the plantation itself and to all of those who lived elsewhere in the United States.

Whitney Plantation is a self-guided tour. Please make sure to download the Whitney Plantation app before your visit
Infant rates apply provided they do not occupy a seat
This bus tour has a good amount of walking at the Plantation house, and you must be able to climb and descend stairs

Snacks are available at the plantations and guests are welcome to bring light food/snacks for the trip
Only dry snacks/foods and beverages with tops are allowed on the vehicles
