During the tour you will enjoy the artisanal versions of: hot dogs ranked NYC’s best, Japanese Inspired Taco, NY state cheeses, real gelato and much more. Take in the historical charms of this 120-year-old building, and hear the story of how the Oreo cookie, that was invented there.

Once outside, take a stroll on the High Line, NYC’s elevated outdoor park. You’ll love hearing tales of the High Line trains that once served the butchers below the tracks as you wander through the Meatpacking District.

Your food tour tickets can be rescheduled within reason. Please contact the tour organizer via email at least 72+ hours before your scheduled tour. Tour organizer contacts can be found in the voucher after booking
The food tour will take place rain or shine. In the rare situation where the tour organizer is forced to cancel the event due to inclement/unsafe weather based on recommendations from the Mayor of NYC, ticket-holders can reschedule to another day (subject to availability), receive a gift card (that never expires) or can receive a full refund. In case this happens, please contact the tour organizer as soon as possible
The High Line stroll is subject to weather conditions, in case of bad weather you will only view the High Line without walking on it
The tour includes 7 tastings on-the-go and 1 seated tasting, tastings vary based on day of the week and tour times
It's recommended to wear comfortable clothing and good walking shoes, and to bring umbrellas on rainy days, warm layers on cold days, cool clothing on hot days, and your own reusable water bottle
During the tour you will taste enough food that, for most people, lunch afterward is not needed
Vegetarian tasting options are available ONLY by emailing info@foodsofny.com at least 24 hours in advance. Other dietary restrictions and last minute changes can NOT be accommodated
Please remember that guide gratuity is not included in the price. It's suggested to calculate customary 20% of the tour cost to be paid at the end of the tour
