San Diego Whaley House Daytime Self-Guided Tour
The infamous Whaley House is widely regarded as one of the most iconic San Diego attractions and known as "America's Most Haunted House". You'll experience a 10-minute narrated overview, then take a self-guided, self-paced museum tour of the living history experience and exhibit rooms.
Overwhelmingly praised as the first of its kind and the finest home in Southern California, the Whaley House was a central pillar of the 19th Century Old Town community. Besides being the Whaley family home, it was also San Diego’s first commercial theater, the county courthouse, and a general store.
Recognized as the oldest two-story brick-structure south of Monterey California, the Whaley House features magnificent Greek Revival architecture along with an unrivaled historical timeline and located in historic Old Town, San Diego which is considered the "Birthplace of California".

- Please note that this tour requires going up and down stairs, and traversing over uneven grounds. ADA access on the first floor. For those guests who are unable to take the stairs, the local provider will be happy to provide a tablet with an audio/visual presentation of the second floor of the Whaley House
